Are you curious to know which works of art you will encounter during your walk? Photographer and filmmaker Ernst Lalleman walked through the city center on a beautiful summer’s day with the compiler Geert de Vries and captured his passion for Delft and its art treasures on film.
Ernst Lalleman grew up in Pijnacker and moved to Delft in the early 1990s. Since 2009 he lives and works in Barcelona. Ernst was trained as a photographer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. He specializes in documentary photography, storytelling and portraiture, both for companies and personal commissions. He is the visual content manager for the Spanish brand Ritaflowers (www.ritaflowers.com). In 2019 Ernst made national news with his special project ‘Who are we?’, the search for the names of over 200 unknown Hagenaars in portrait photographs from 1959-1960. In 2021 the collection will be on display during an exhibition at Fotomuseum Den Haag. For more information: www.ernstlalleman.com.
